Boy takes girl – the guide to couples and cooperation exercises

Towards the upcoming Valentine’s Day – a few simple exercises to perform in couples to achieve calm, serenity and a sea of love energy …

Short and releasing exercises:
All you need is a warm corner at home – dimmed lights, a quiet atmosphere with background music to your taste, and a comfortable surface to sit on with legs
crossed, while you sit facing each other as close as possible. One of you will place the palms of the hands on his thighs facing
upward, the partner will place his palms, which are also facing upward, inside the palms of the first. Close your eyes and relax your
the body while breathing in through the nose and exhaling air from the mouth. Continue this way, until the breaths become deep and slow. Then one of the
partners will place the ‘teacher’ finger (index finger) on the point connecting the eyebrows and with a light movement massage the place for about half a minute. When finished, place the
two thumbs on the same point between the eyebrows, and with a gentle movement combined with light pressure slide the fingers upward to
the hairline, like this for another half a minute. Then switch. These points have a strong effect on reducing tensions and pressures originating
from emotions such as accumulated anger, fear and more – the daily routine that sometimes we all know.
Tuina – Chinese physiotherapy
•One of the partners turns around, so that the two partners sit one behind the other. The partner sitting behind will perform two movements that help
general refreshment, reduction of tension and general discomfort. First place the hands on the trapezius muscles (the muscle between the shoulder and the neck).
Most people suffer from tension in this area. The hands should be placed gently and left without movement for 30 seconds to one minute.
This touch allows the body to relax and get used to the practitioner’s hands. Now we will begin gentle kneading movements. This movement combines a circular movement
of the thumbs and bringing the fingers toward the thumb. This movement is good to do for 2 minutes, therefore it is advisable to start gently and slowly,
and gradually accelerate and strengthen the movement. It is important to note that the effect of a gentle movement is also great. Now the practitioner will place his two
palms on the lower back. The fingers will be facing outward (to the sides) and the thumbs upward. The practitioner will slide his thumbs
while applying a little force, toward the fingers. During the movement the thumbs move away from each other and the fingers serve as support.
It is recommended to repeat the movement many times for about one minute. The movement is not a fast movement. At this stage the
patient should feel a general good feeling and sometimes even a feeling of renewal of energy. At the end of the exercise it is recommended to drink water in order
to prevent a feeling of dryness (there are times when the movement of energy during the exercise dries a little and the fluids must be returned to the body) and switch

(It is important to note, usually Tuina exercises are performed over clothes, however – couples exercises can be performed in a way suitable

Holistic Swedish massage
Take your partner to a warm and quiet place where you won’t be distracted. When the partner sits in an eastern (cross-legged) position, come and sit on your knees
behind him. Place your hands on the partner’s stomach from behind and with circular movements, massage his stomach clockwise. Draw his attention
of your partner to the breaths – make sure that slowly his breaths become long and deep. As he begins to relax, move your hands toward the shoulders
of the partner. Place your palms on the partner’s shoulders and with light presses push toward the floor. Pull your hands from the partner’s shoulders and with a
slow movement, place them covering both his eyes. Concentrate on your breaths and your partner’s breaths until your breaths and your heartbeats
unite and merge, and as you do so, send your partner positive energies of love through the palms of the hands. Switch with your partner
